Responsible for the profitable management of 19 high volume quick service restaurants in a 6 state territory. Actively managed the extensive remodel of 10 restaurants with a focus on driving new traffic and creating new efficiencies resulting in positive sales growth and reduced costs. Improved the operations and profitability of all units year to year at a time of increased cost challenges through a dedicated focus on human resources, labor controls, food costs and local store marketing strategies. Increased sales and profits of all locations.

Acted as the liaison between the franchisor and the franchisee in a multi-state territory overseeing 120 plus quick service franchised restaurants. Responsible for building sales and profits for the franchisor and guiding franchisees to build sales and profits for their individual units. Grew the franchised restaurant unit count through the development of business plans and growth strategies for the franchisees. Actively involved with the development, site selection, construction and opening of numerous new units in all areas of the country. Supervised and mentored a Restaurant Operations Consultant.

Responsible for a district of 46 stores in Washington and Idaho. Provided direction and training to franchisees and managers covering all aspects of the restaurant business including: financial management, marketing, sales building, human resources and operational aspects of the Dairy Queen®, Orange Julius® and Karmelkorn® systems. Acted as the primary liaison between IDQ and the franchisee. Performed store evaluations to insure franchisee compliance with system standards for quality, value, service and cleanliness. Developed and monitored the construction and successful opening of new restaurants from site selection through the various phases of design, construction and the final opening process. Spearheaded the renovation of seventeen restaurants within the district. Instrumental in the successful development of new POS and kitchen cooking systems resulting in improved profitability and speed of service opportunities to the entire system. Received the “Top Field Consultant of the Division Award” and the “Top of the Field Award” for 1995.
