I have 27 years experience in forensic science (15 government, 12 private sector), the last 23 of which have been spent primarily as a latent print examiner. Twelve years of that time were also spent conducting crime scene investigations. I formed my own company in 2014 and specialize in forensic consultation and training. Currently I have testified as an expert witness in over 110 criminal trials. These trials were in both Federal and State courts in the following locations: South Carolina, Texas, Massachusetts, Tennessee, Georgia, Florida, Virginia, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas and St. Croix.I have conducted over 250 training classes throughout the United States, as well as Belgium, Canada, Costa Rica, England, Lebanon and Morocco. Attendees include law enforcement, crime scene investigators, forensic scientists, forensic pathologists, coroners, military personnel, defense attorneys, prosecuting attorneys and high school/college students.In 2014, I was selected through a competitive application process to the Friction Ridge Subcommittee within the Organization of Scientific Area Committees (OSAC). I was also appointed in 2015 to the Latent Fingerprint Analysis Working Group within the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS).
