• Led a team of ten personnel in the start-up, recirculation, and processing of radiological contaminated water collected at the SPRU DP facility for discharge to the environment upon satisfactory completion of the removal of radiological isotopes (radioactive) and volatile organic compounds (VOC) from water.• Accounted for the overall project coordination between the Diversified Technologies Services’ team and subcontractor (Department of Energy – URS) to facilitate a streamline approach to processing operations at the SPRU DP facility.• Responsible for the day-to-day work control release of all work at the SPRU DP facility.• Acted as liaison between the subcontractor (DOE), Naval Reactors (Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory) and state and environmental agencies to facilitate a streamline approach to work release and reporting requirements as outlined in policies and procedures for demolition and deactivation facilities.• Accountable for the direct supervision of ten personnel in various system operations, preventative, and corrective maintenance of all process systems at the SPRU DP facility.• Coordinated the successful transfer of over 100,000 gallons of contaminated water to tanker trucks for off-site disposal.• Successfully maintained the water treatment system for the removal of radiological nuclides and volatile organic compounds from collected groundwater for treated water disposal off-site.

• Led a team of six personnel in preventative and corrective maintenance of all production equipment in the facility and warehouse areas, interior and exterior grounds maintenance, facility utility operation, and maintenance and all training with respect to OSHA requirements and regulations.• Orchestrated the rapid replacement of the condensate return tank for the boiler two days ahead of schedule with no outside contracting work involved. Restored all boiler and feed chemistry to normal parameters and allowed production to resume the following day with no setbacks which saved over 2,000 dollars in labor and material cost.• Engineered a groundwater removal system which allowed the reuse of groundwater seeping into the facility for linen and wash process while satisfying OSHA regulations. This allowed the Bulk Chemical Storage System to be used two weeks ahead of schedule which contributed to over 80,000 dollars savings in chemical costs.
