Assistant Technical Staff in the Quantum Information and Integrated Nanosystems group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory.

Embedded Tutor for MAT 315 (Numerical Analysis) with Dr. Tim Chartier. Hold bi-weekly office hours for students to assist with homework and general course concepts.

- Using deep learning (specifically conditional Wasserstein Generative Adversarial Networks) as a fast detector simulator for high energy particle physics experiments.- Presenting results at the 2021 April APS meeting, and the 25th International Conference on Computing in High-Energy and Nuclear Physics.

- Participated in the University of Maryland's Training and Research Experience in Nonlinear Dynamics (TREND) REU- Modeled the placement of a magnet directly below a parametrically driven pendulum and studied the dynamics of the new system. Used C++ and the Boost ODE Int library to solve equations of motion with numerical integration, and OpenMPI to parallelize differential equation solving.

Used machine learning algorithms (primarily Convolutional Neural Networks and Generative Adversarial Networks) to analyze data generated from the Active-Target Time Projection Chamber at the National Superconducting Cyclotron Laboratory.

I helped generate ideas for content and design of data visualizations presented on VPAP’s website. I also acquired and cleaned datasets used for visualizations – for example, I scraped data about political campaign ads from Facebook’s political ad archive and organized the data to determine the money spent on each ad, the times each ad had appeared on a screen, and what specific words candidates were using in their ads.
