As a full time organiser with the Communication Workers Union, I believe that our members are entitled to a strong collective voice in their workplaces. I work closely with our members across their various fields; from postal, telecommunications, tech and call centre sectorst o new terrains for union organising in Ireland, to support them in organising for improved pay and conditions - overall working for happier and healthier workplaces for staff. Unions have a vital role to play in achieving a fairer, more equal, and more just society; a role that can must be driven by our vibrant and passionate membership. I believe in the central role of trade unions, like the CWU, in a thriving civil society and equitable and healthy democracy.We deserve a world that works for everyone, not just the people at the very top. For fairness, for social and economic justice, trade unions & worker power are essential!
