Mr. Bolan received Bachelor of Engineering and Master of Engineering degrees from the Stevens Institute of Technology. Mr. Bolan also holds licenses for Underground Storage Tanks (full service), Licensed Site Remediation Professional and Professional Engineer in the State of New Jersey. He is also a Qualified Environmental Professional in the State of New York. At Paulus, Sokolowski and Sartor, LLC (PS&S), he serves as a Vice President and Chief Environmental Engineer.After receiving his degrees, Mr. Bolan began his career with the Hackensack Meadowlands Development Commission (now merged with the New Jersey Sports Authority) as an Environmental Project Manager and progressively advanced to the position of Assistant Chief Engineer, Environmental. He worked on numerous field and remedial investigations, permitting and designs for solid and hazardous waste projects. During his tenure as Assistant Chief Engineer, Mr. Bolan served as the Commission’s Environmental Engineer and was the Commission’s liaison with the NJDEP and USEPA. Mr. Bolan has more than 35 years of experience on remediation and waste management projects ranging to more than 115 million dollars. Since joining PS&S, he has provided services to utility, public authority and private clients. He has performed services on numerous Phase I ESAs/Preliminary Assessments; Phase II ESAs/Site Investigations; Underground Storage Tank Investigations, Designs and Permitting; Remedial Investigations; Planning and Design for Remedial Actions; Remedial Action Permitting, Oversight of Remedial Construction and Remedial Action Reports. Mr. Bolan has also provided permitting, design and oversight services on dredging projects and has served as overall project manager on remedial projects requiring multidisciplinary services. He also has an extensive experience profile in solid waste and recycling and provided study, planning, design, permitting and construction oversight services for small to large soild waste and recycling facilties. Mr. Bolan is a Life Member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, a Life Member of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers and a member of the New Jersey Licensed Site Remediation Professionals Association.
