• Loyalty program grew exponentially during tenure, to 32.5% (highest the store has seen in 50 yr history), top 5% in District, through clear expectation, motivation and accountability, despite challenges presented with.
• Increased foot traffic and conversion by introducing a Local Interest section, garnering exponential sales within its first weeks, through proactive networking with local vendors, as well as appealing to the Port.
• Created "Share Your Passion" program for staff as a tool to recommend their favorite items in the store, whether Gourmet, Wine, Bath, Furniture, or Decor.

• Oversaw over 200+ employees as Store Director in a multilevel, $18+ million campus store location with Follett Higher Education Group. Contracted by UC Berkeley, the 5th highest volume location of 950 in the US.
• My primary responsibility was in campus relationships with students, faculty, administration, and business partners (including Apple Retail, as a portion of our location was devoted to their contractual business)..
• I was also in continuous support of student involvement politically, sociologically, ecologically, and otherwise.
• Operationally, I oversaw 8 Senior Managers (with aligned assistants and supervisors of their own) who included my Assistant Director, and the Managers of Inventory, Customer Service, Computer/Tech Dept (Apple).
• I was directly involved in hiring needs, Human Resource accountabilities and coaching, partnership in marketing strategies, and sourcing locations for the imminent 3 year relocation for the store during the pending.

• Most recently was GM of San Francisco Centre, CA location (2009-2011). I was also the district's Field Trainer (2nd tenure). Finished 2010 with highest superstore comp sales in the district, despite the Recession..
• Previously was GM of multilevel Flagship / Union Square location for 6 years, leading team to see increase of $3.2 mill in volume within first 3 years (increasing from $11.8 to $15 mil), top 3 in country. Held Field.
• GM of Monterey Borders '99-'03 and saw similar 3+ mil increase, from $6 to $9 mill, while simultaneously managing Santa Cruz location over Holiday season in 2002.
• Developed 5 in-store managers to become GM's of their own stores, from SF and Monterey locations.
• Acting DM in District Manager's absence for 3 different DM's over the course of 12 years.

• FLAGSHIP LOCATION
• Responsible for managing and overseeing 90-110 employees, as well as overseeing all facets of operation of a Flagship/multi-level location (SF Union Square).
• Led team to see an increase of 20% in sales,and became 3rd highest volume store out of 520 in US by third year of tenure. This was accomplished through building a great team, clear communication of service standards.
• Oversaw KPI’s, key efficiencies, and continual refinements, resulting in a 1.56% shrink score (goal was 1.95%), the best the store had seen since its inception.
• Led team to above average score of "highly satisfied" on Service Score/Secret Shops.
• Led team through massive remodel of all five floors, completion of which was before deadline.

Held position concurrently with GM position 2005-2006 and 2010-2011.

Rotated through various Management positions within the Mission Viejo store location until becoming GM of Monterey location in Nov 1999.
