With 50 years of experience, in Building Control. I still enjoy ensuring building safety, and high quality buildings.As my own involvement spans, from from installing inside-toilets and bathrooms into rural village "coal-miners-rows" and "ash-midden" privy-conversion work, to checking the building of hundreds of new homes, during the 1970s=1980s & 1990s and many unique disabled grant funded adaptations, and conversions of many historic & listed buildings, to helping to plan check and inspect the then largest shopping mall in Europe - Gateshead's - "Metrocentre", with Tyneside's "The Sage" Multi-Music Venue, and Gateshead's "The Baltic Centre" and many other projects.
