I have done a number of inspirational presentations and demonstrations (workshops) of my artwork and career development in schools on the Navajo Reservation and surrounding area. These include schools in Ganado, Lukachukai, Window Rock,AZ; also in Navajo, Gallup, Thoreau, Grants and the American Indian Art Institute in Santa Fe, NM.. I have worked with individuals and small groups as well and am seeking more of these events. I Design and create fine art objects, including sculptures in wood, stone and bronze as well as paintings using primarily natural-local pigments. As a self-taught artist, I enjoy exploring new media, techniques, and styles, that might broaden my perspective in creating truly unique pieces that inspire the public and other artists as well. Honoring diversity and new possibilities is important to me rather than just repetition, production and marketing. My art is a personal quest for peaceful, productive and independent living. My subjects include figurative, stylized and abstracted work reflecting my life on the Navajo reservation and southwestern United States.
