I managed, Maintain and improve Operational systems, continually working with the Director in improving processes and policies, long term and short term planning towards growth and operational excellence, budgets and forecasting.Project management over all new developments at Luxor, installation and design of new platforms , solvent recovery systems ,bunded area's as well as the removal and installation of new equipment mills ,mixers etc.Risk management, Maintenance planning, production planning , forecasting and stock management are part of the daily functions with the various departments, working closely on the production floor to achieve our goals.Managing 130 staff from various departments, positions and cultures it has its challenges but with communication and working as a team we have achieved remarkable results,in Six years we have reduced a 30% head count, increased productivity by over a 100% and cut overtime from 120 hours a month too 24 hours a month. During my six year management at Luxor we manage to take the business from strength to strength growing from a R160million in 2010 to R370million in 2015, producing an average of 300 Tons a month in 2010 to an average of 700 Tons in 2015.

I worked at Sicpa/ Siegwerk liquid inks for 13 years , I have had most of my detailed working experience at Sicpa/ Siegwerk ranging from Training and development, management and sales,After years of training and working as a liquid inks Technician i was promoted into the liquid inks Lab manager for Siegwerk SA,my rolls included running of trials on narrow web water based , solvent based gravure , corrugated water based and board water based , all project management and new project development for the packaging industry, quality control and quality processes.During this time I was sent for training at our head offices in Germany and France.moving for new challenges I wanted to expand my knowledge and experience into technical services sales in the liquid inks market and was promoted to Sales Manager in two years, managed new business, existing business for the liquid inks market, target setting and trials were some of my responsibilities. Opportunities arose in Operations and production field , again wanting new challenges I applied and got the position as the Operations Manager for JHB and DBN, managing and maintaining Operations from receiving the order to delivering the product to the customer, because of my technical knowledge my involvement in customer relations were still maintained. I have worked with all the large packaging groups such as Nampak, Mondipak,Golden era.
