Responsible for building out the global support organization, leveraging the trusted advisor role to our customers in pre and post sales situations. Manage a group of service engineers and molecular biology scientists to provide the highest level of support to all our customers working to meet each customer's needs. Partner with internal customers to provide voice of customer, training for sales partners, product development and new product adoption in the academic, clinical and service provider markets. Responsible for helping achieve corporate revenue targets and growing support revenue. Sought opportunities to leverage the voice of customer for continuous improvement of product and support. Implemented systems and procedures to meet ISO and FDA regulatory requirements.

Managed several teams of more than 30 field application scientists. Established strategic objectives and visions for each team as their business models varied by product and markets they served. Provided training and support to internal and external customers, created custom support for key accounts and was responsible for all pre and post sales support needs. Created and evolved customer support material as well as developed, marketed and sold customer support products. Responsible for implementing systems to track performance, establish key performance indicators, leverage data for improvements of support and/or products as well as how to best deploy the talented resources. Grew support revenue and identified ways to be more judicious in expenditures.
