Expertly performed duties in supervisory role for accountability of personnel in the positions of G6 Division Chief and below. Ensure all mobilizing National Guard and Reserve Soldiers, more than 15,000, have focused and intense training customized to the mission. Estimates field services representative support requirements totaling more than $1.3M for all mission command systems to support battalion, brigade and division exercises (reduces cost more than 30% per exercise). Served as the Signal Support System Chief in support of the 108th Air Defense Artillery Brigade (Forward) in Qatar Al Udeid Air Base (AUAB); supervised, planed and integrated the installation, employment and maintenance of signal support systems, automated telecommunications systems, satellite radio communications systems and communications networks, using radio, wire and battlefield automated systems. Developed Staff information services policy and procedures. Established unit signal maintenance programs, policies and procedures. Planed and conducted Division, Brigade and Battalion Signal support operations and user owned and operated signal equipment training. Was responsible for the training and caring of four Officers, seven Non-Commissioned Officers, and sixteen Soldiers to include training for three brigade size elements.Globally enforced the Network Security Improvement Program over multiple theaters. Reviewed Army policy that implements NSIP subprograms and initiatives to include Domain Name Service, Cross Domain Solutions, Remote Access, Information Assurance (IA) Tools, Web Cache, and Network Demilitarized Zone, Connection Approval Process, and Non-secure/Secure Internet Protocol Router Network security. Implemented information systems security technology and procedures, to include Common Access Card (CAC) Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) and biometrics that address access control and authentication of users and transmitted information. As a First Sergeant for a Signal Network Company of 1st Infantry Division Sustainment Brigade Special Troops Battalion; I was the senior enlisted leader to the Commander on all matters to include communications support, tactical operations, promotions, military justice, equal opportunity, and resiliency; responsible for the training, readiness, health, welfare, and professional development of 45 NCOs and Soldiers spanning five Military Occupational Specialties (MOS); training and developing two Platoon Sergeants in the management of Headquarters elements, Signal Range Extension Platoon, and a Signal Network Extension Platoon that provides brigade level communications to over 1500 Soldiers.Led the Company to be awarded multiple accolades for Safety, 1st Infantry Division High Capacity Line of Sight (HCLOS) challenge, and Brigade Physical Challenge Streamer. Maintained a work place of high moral through positive recognition and goal setting.Principle Non-Commissioned Officer and executor for combat support and combat services support as well as the tactical and technical advisor to the commander.
