John Boyle is acknowledged as one of the planet’s most experienced underwater cameramen. He even wrote the definitive book on underwater filming. He is a published author and magazine journalist, writing for a number of marine based magazines and his book on Somali pirates sold successfully worldwide. An accomplished seaman he has taken his boat from Africa to the Arctic and circumnavigated the British Isles which trips he documented in series of films and feature articles.John has filmed and produced around 30 documentaries for worldwide TV, which have won over 60 international awards, including an unprecedented double Palme d'Or at the Antibes World Underwater Film Festival. In addition to camera work, he is a scriptwriter and production co-ordinator.
