John is an experienced, internationally travelled project professional, who has delivered in a variety of demanding capital intensive project and consulting roles for both private and government organisations. John for the last two years has been the Risk Management Lead for South East Australia for an international engineering consultancy company. Prior to this John has undertaken several Project Services and Project Management roles whilst in Australia, these projects have included the building of a new Colorbond facility, the upgrade to a sinter plant, the reconfiguration and commissioning of a new coal drying facility and a prototype process plant, to immobilise legacy liquid nuclear waste. Prior to migrating to Australia in September 2004 John managed a portfolio of high value technology nuclear decommissioning projects retrieving and encapsulating intermediate radioactive wastes for the UK government. John worked internationally in the private sector within the Float Glass sector for 14 years as a Project Manager/Engineer, responsible for the design, procurement, inspection, and installation and commissioning of refractory lined furnaces, glass annealing and mechanical handling equipment.
