I began my career in 1983 as a producer with Curtis Insurance and eventually went on to purchase Curtis in 1990. The business expanded by virtue of some key acquisitions and strong organic growth, specializing in commercial program business. In 2008, Curtis Insurance merged with Purdom, Blonde and Little Insurance, integrating offices in Windsor, London and Ottawa. The merge created PBL Insurance and was a great strategic fit, complimenting our mutual goal to become a large regionally focused brokerage in Ontario.At PBL Insurance Limited, we are poised for a new period of unprecedented growth – leveraging our broad industry expertise to attract more top-tier clients, and building solid relationships with customers through our specialized knowledge. Our numbers speak volumes with 100 million in insurance premiums. PBL Insurance Limited proudly enters the marketplace with a client base of 6,500 and premiums of $80 million in commercial lines and an additional $20 million in personal lines premiums - an industry leader as one of the 25 largest independent insurance brokers in Canada.
