Fill shelves and maintain levels of excess inventory. Working with store management with sales and promotion of our products.

Cutting and trimming grass, trees, shrubs per customer needs; manage and train new employees. Knowledge of equipment, including maintenance and safe operation. Driving truck with a large trailer; plowing of snow; snow removal from sidewalks; distribution of salt products. Keeping detailed records of work performed. Working with and coordinating with other team members to get work done effectively. Performing work within certain time frames, keeping costs to a minimum. Completing bids, and sales of our services.

Attach parts to trucks in a very fast paced envirnment; knowledge of sequencing part numbers; safety guidelines for specific areas; make repairs on broken or non-conforming parts; ensure the quality of parts and report any defects. I learned many jobs here, and was well respected and praised for the ability jump in and do most jobs with minimal training and supervision. We built four door three-quarter ton pick-up trucks in this plant. In a ten hour shift we built between 200-400 trucks depending on production needs. Most jobs had to be completed with in 30-40 seconds. As I was assigned to new jobs, would then train tranferred employees to that specific job. I also helped train new team leaders on several occasions.

Grocery Clerk-Stock shelves with products; unload trucks with forklifts and hand jacks; regulate inventory. Store Detective- Apprehend thieves; review safety procedures with employees; in charge of all fire and alarm systems.As a grocery clerk I learned all aspects of the department; receiving, inventory, stock loss, plan-o-grams, and customer service. I received high praises from management on my hard work and my ability to get things done on time. While working as a store detective I was able to apprehend thieves as well as keeping a safe environment in the workplace. I successfully completed the Meijer Store Detective Training Course which included the following subjects; Restraint training, C.P.R., first aid, check investigation, environmental services, risk management, labor relations, negotiation training, investigations, arrest and processing, report writing, case prep and testimony, interpersonal skills, patrol procedures, safety and fire protection. We were also in charge of all fire and alarm systems, and performed scheduled tests of both systems on a regular basis.
