Currently assigned to the S7000 SSCV Construction vessel, primary duty is to maintain all survey equipment on board, this ranges from subsea positioning equipment, IxBlue Gaps, Kongsberg Hipap C-Node Beacons), IxBlue Equipment including Octans Gyro (Surface and Subsea), PHINS. Meridian gyros, RTS Gen 5 Multiplexer system, Surface positioning systems Veripos LD 5 and LD 7 for DGNNS Gyro this also includes the set up and interfacing of ROV instruments to the Survey suite. All survey equipment ranging from the PC's on the survey suite and all assosiciated network components, fibre optics, RS232/422, Ethernet and power supplies, operating and updating NaviPac, Gaps MMI software and all associated survey software, logistics of all survey equipment and report writing when required, this could be fault reports, daily occurrence reports, incident reports etc. S7000 is a heavy lift construction vessel carrying out a range of activities currently on the Hornsea HOW 01 campaign working for Orsted in water depths of 20/30m with currents hitting 2.5 knots, this poses its own unique problems wiht sub sea positioning and the ROV's. The vessel has a full season of work in the North Sea and will be carrying out tasks ranging from jacket and top side installations to decommissioning work.

Tertiary duties include assisting the dimensional control surveyor, ensuring the base engineers are forwarded all relevant documentation and liaising as and when required with vessel management and clients with regards to project equipment. I am also heavily involved in the HSE aspects with regards to the Survey section on board the S7000, ensuring that we work in accordance with Saipem corporate policy for HSE and furthermore ensuring our team works safely and maintains a pro active attitude.

During my time on the S3000 I have completed several full Metrolgies to coincide with construction work carried out by the S3000. Currently working in the Egina Field Nigeria having completed Phase 1 late last year and subsequently working on Kaombo, East and West Hub in Angola.
