Better with Breen!John worked as A.V.P. of AT&T Solutions Center and is now a member of the board of directors at LinkAmerica and Chief Marketing Officer for one of his primary clients. He started MGS after retiring from AT&T to offer his services as a consultant. He is a thirty five year veteran of the computer and data communications industry, most of those years within the family of AT&T’s companies. Most of his career has been spent managing and developing data and voice communication skilled engineers for roles in customer facing sales support. In his current role, he is a board member and CMO, but in the past has managed teams of over 700 hundred engineers, managers and directors that serve all business sales segments world wide. These engineers worked with customers to create some of the most complex equipment and service solutions to meet the customer’s requirements in IP Telephony, Cloud, HD Video, Security, Optical transport, Enterprise VPN and Wireless solutions. John has been quoted in VAR Business Review, Networld Interop, ON24, VPN CON, Dallas Morning News and President and CEO magazine. In addition John has been a speaker at many AT&T events such as FOCUS, CIO Executive Summits and Technical Leader Forums.John was a board member of Cisco Partner Technical Advisory Board, Ciena Council, and is currently a Senior member of IEEE, member of the AT&T Pioneers and member of the Private Directors Association. Philanthropy: Continue support in Technical education via the Breen Computing Center in Lakewood Ohio at St. Edward High School. Member of the Board of Del Oro Groves. Specialties: MBA and BS in BA.
