● Defined the strategy, deployed the tactics, and executed NATCA’s internal strategy during the longest government shutdown in U.S. history, which included developing all policy papers and communications outreach to 15,000 NATCA members● Led efforts to establish a bipartisan “NATCA Majority” in the House, which included solidifying a Democratic base of support, along with a group of 50 Republican Members who were supportive on many of our issues. We used this “NATCA Majority” to defeats efforts against collective bargaining and official time • Directed annual NATCA-in-Washington fly-in conference, including leading legislative briefings, managing and moderating Congressional panels for over 400 air traffic controller members, and coordinating key-note speakers ● Led Congressional passage and enactment of HR5292 – the Air Traffic Controller Hiring Improvement Act - which streamlined the hiring process for veterans’ and controllers with prior experience
