This is achieved by the provision of supervision, coaching, facilities and equipment for rowing and sculling activities, with the object of improving the conditions of life for those young people who have need of such activities. Our Club, therefore, provides children and young people who would not normally have the financial means or opportunity, to take part in rowing. We have an inclusive membership policy and welcome young people from all backgrounds, ability, social class or economic background and have never turned a child away because their parents cannot afford to pay for their sport. If a child is in receipt of free school meals then they will receive free or discounted membership to the Club, which entitles them to up to 5 rowing sessions each week, with full coaching support.
