John Brough serves as the Chief Executive Officer for both Chain Bridge Bank, N.A. and its holding entity, Chain Bridge Bancorp, Inc. He is a Director of each institution. With over three decades in banking, Mr. Brough has experience working with businesses, non-profit organizations and individual clients. Before leading the management of the Bank and its holding company from their founding, he was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at James Monroe Bancorp, Inc. His earlier roles include Senior Vice President, Regional Controller, and Cashier at First Virginia Banks, Inc. Mr. Brough completed his MBA and undergraduate studies at Georgetown University and participated in the Georgetown International Management Graduate Business Program at Oxford University. He held a CPA license from 1999 to 2017.
