Strategic Advisor and Program Director, Delivery Management and Quality AssuranceManitoba Health Transformation Program (May 2021 – June 2023)As Strategic Advisor, John undertook a detailed review of the function, operations, and performance of the programs Transformation Management Office, reporting directly to the Transformation Leadership. This review resulted in a number of organizational, structural and process changes aimed at improving the overall operations and performance of the program.As Program Director, Delivery Management and Quality Assurance, John is responsible for ensuring effective and efficient delivery of a complex, multi-dimensional transformation program (39 projects and a budget of $800 million). This includes vendor contract management, staff and contractor performance, ensuring the projects comply with established performance standards and delivery of outcome expectations. This role supports the workstream Program Leads in the planning, development and execution of each project initiative.

As Associate Director, Consulting at Sierra's Halifax and Edmonton offices, John was responsible for supporting the ongoing growth and development of Sierra's Western Canadian health and other business. John was also a key contributor to Sierra's national health practice.

As the Atlantic Health Practice Lead in Deloitte's Halifax Office, John worked with a strong team of health and consulting professionals to provide service excellence and thought leadership to Deloitte clients in the health care environment in Atlantic Canada.
