2Nd Line It Support Analyst
In this role I am more heavily involved in the Systems Administration role linking in with the Infrastructure Manager and the Head of Technical\System Delivery Manager. I also act as an escalation point for the 1st Line Support Analysts.This role includes a lot of project work and I built and configured the System Centre 2012 Suite within a test environment before deploying to the live network. I also monitor the companies vmWare ESX hosts and Virtual servers.
It Field Service Engineer
Duties in the FSE role involved looking after the IT within 40 remote sites. This means liasing with the support analysts on the helpdesk and management to make sure that all the sites are working. This involved a quarterly visit to ensure that all equipment works and if required an emergancy visit to fix problems as they occur. I was involved in a number of projects within this role including the planning and installing of new ADSL routers at the sites due to an ADSL Line upgrade, the installation of a Riverbed system and planning and installation of a new Infostations\Kiosk upgrade. I also created a database to help facilitate a full IT Audit of all the remote sites.

I was brought in as one of the first in-house helpdesk analysts as the company has previously used an IT Outsource company for all support calls. This involved getting the processes in place to facilitate this.I helped support the company's Citrix based users across 80 remote sites and the users based at the Head Office with connection problems, software/hardware installation, printer installation and user administration in Active Directory.

My duties included offering support over the phone, prioritising my work load on the in-house call logging software. Remotely and visiting clients offices to fix, install, configure computers, servers and software. Providing Systems Administration to all the CCT Customers.
