Automated driver dispatch optimization, delivery estimation, labor capacity management, distributed decision making, and experimentation. * Technical lead on a high performance distributed de-duping queue service based on Redis related to hotel pricing used to reduce traffic. Developed traffic simulations to justify project and predict improvements. Designed architecture and integration with existing services. Built tools to monitor and visualize effectiveness. * Technical lead on a service for generating and streaming hundreds of configurable hotel-related files for advertising and meta-search partners with different types of generated and static content in multiple languages and formats from many data sources.* Developed and maintained a federation of large-scale external facing web services, and a related framework. * Developed on and supported full stack software platform for last-mile delivery (including Amazon Fresh) to scale, reduce costs, and provide critical features to customers, drivers, station operators, and business.* Primary inventor on four logistics- and navigation-related patent applications.* Expanded platform availability, and reduced expansion costs by integrating new authentication solutions into an existing website and mobile application, while hardening them for public exposure. This included integration with RBAC, implementation of many security features, and the resolution of many oversights in initial design.* Improved platform and organization security by significantly raising awareness on an international team. Trained and qualified as a security certifier to provide advice and official design review and testing of new applications. Wrote Linux serial drivers for SICK laser range finder, frame grabber, remote access for laser and video, integration of laser and camera data. Developed complete real-time software system for control and wireless teleoperation of robot and manipulator in QNX environment. Wrote PCI driver for NI DAQ card (register level), acquisition and filtering of force-torque data, high-frequency control of Segway base and Shunk arm over CAN bus, image processing, and visualization (opengl / SDL).
