System Administrator
- Troubleshooting of software / hardware problems; repair and upgrade of laptops and desktops; user and server administration.
- Improving and updating administrator processes and creating checklists, e.g. for password strategies; data backup; asset management for software and hardware
- Supporting internal users directly or by phone (from short questions to ad-hoc training in the use of programs, from the simplest basics to expert level)
- Financial decisions (autonomous and collaborative) regarding desktops, laptops, servers and network hardware
- Maintenance and replenishment of spare parts inventory
- Responsibility for maintenance and utilization planning for specialized equipment
