-In this role, I deputize the Financial Controler for East Africa, I am the focal point for the Tax Manager in theAfrican region, with my proficiency in cross-border financial operations and compliance on a multinational scalewithin the organization, I am involved in the approval of intercompany invoices across a global landscape,encompassing Asia, Europe, America, and every region where SGS maintains its footprint.Responsibilities:• Review the accuracy and completeness of transactions posted into the system by finance team.• Prepare monthly management accounts for review and approval by financial controller.• Review and sign off monthly balance sheet reconciliations.• Coordinate with finance team to ensure that monthly financial reports are completed on time.• Consult with internal and external auditors, tax and other regulatory bodies on matters relating tofinancial transactions of the company.• Review and sign off monthly payroll reports.• Ensure that VAT, WHT, Corporate tax and other statutory and regulatory taxes are filed on time.• Ensure monthly account schedules are prepared by finance team and signed off.• Preparation of annual statutory financial statements.• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports required from time to time.• Assist in budget preparation and expense management activities for assigned accounts.• Supervising and supporting finance staff on daily tasks.• Respond to accounting inquiries from management in a timely manner.• Perform financial analysis and reporting to management as needed.• At all times, comply with SGS Code of Integrity and Professional Conduct• At all times strictly adhere to 01 procedures.• Ensure that work carried meets the requirements of the Group Minimum Health, Safety andEnvironment standards and procedures.• Any other duties and responsibilities assigned to by the Financial Controller from time to time.

Responsibilities:• Management and financial accounting analysis and reporting.• Data and information security management. Budget planning and expenditure, analysis, review, and reporting. Compliance management, and controls on policy, regulations, and statutory requirements. Reconciliations -Accounts, Bank, Admin and Audit. Tax operations management: VAT, WHT VAT, WHT CIT, PAYE, CIT. Staff Payroll processing and management. Accounts Payables and Receivables. Manage internal controls, process and procedures on accounting and finance operations. Preparation and facilitation of internal and external auditing. Petty cash reimbursement and management.

Responsibilities: Financial accounting and accurate bookkeeping. Managing finance operations, administration, regulatory and statutory compliance - submission ofstatutory returns: NHIF & NSSF, Registration requirements, renewals, subscriptions etc. Performance reporting, preparations of management accounts, financial reports, budgets, andanalysis. Tax management -VAT, PAYE & WHT VAT, WHT CIT, and CIT. In charge of payables and receivables. Bank and supplier reconciliations. Ensuring the integrity of the financial data including the General and subsidiary ledgers. Establish and ensuring compliance to financial policies and procedures of the company. Analyzing and interpreting financial data as well as recommending changes to improve systems,processes and financial performance while ensuring company assets are adequately maintained andsafeguarded. Coordination of Audit and assurance exercise.

Responsibilities: Formulated business plans ensure maintained compliance to quality control and procedures. Responsible for operations, implement management plans, as guided by business strategies. Management and running operations of business bank accounts. Supervisory role of finance staff, planning, allocation and assignment of duties and resources. Management of internal controls procedures -testing procedural effectiveness and compliance tostandards – did through inquiry, observation, inspection, and performance to assess the risk andmaterial impact of controls. Identify, initiate, and effect corrective actions to bring business areas in line with standards. Continuously monitored business performance while influencing results to achieve set targets. Financial consultations on Budgets, business plan and cash projections, operating environment.

Responsibilities: Identified potential sales opportunities with new and existing Customers. Cross selling within portfolio to ensure high return on portfolio risk weighted assets. Took part in business development first line planning aimed at meeting changing market needs. Took part in market surveys meant to research competitive threats/opportunities within market. Performed cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing and potential customers to meet their needs. Established, developed, and maintained positive business and customer relationships. Prepared management reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, andpotential for new products and services.

Responsibilities: Records management- data entry, filling, retrieval, and safe custody. Bookkeeping -Preparing books of accounts, reconciliations& financial performance reports. Accounts payables and receivables tasks. Finance administration roles – making of cheques, payment vouchers and ensuring that all expenditurepayments have proper approval and documentation while ensuring all invoices and payments areproperly authorized and paid on time. Inventory control and management including periodic stock taking exercise. Petty Cash Management and reimbursement. Procurement operations – Preparations of quotations, LPO, LSO, suppliers’ records management
