Implemented inventory management processes which resulted in a 0.5 week reduction in inventory holdings ($5 million per week reduction). Identified, developed and implemented electronic settlement of weekly duty with Customs & ATO resulting in a reduction of 8 manhours per week. Redundancy following the closure of HLW in December 2012.

Monitored P&L performance in 6 sites for inventory management, warehouse service level performance & productivity. Conducted regular warehouse operation & OH&S audits across all sites. Responsible for the successful integration of 5 new DCs into the HLW network & their subsequent management within HLW performance criteria. Established all aspects of OH&S systems, warehouse management, stock management, reporting and internal audit processes for these sites as part of the 2nd largest liquor wholesale operation in Australia. Implemented and managed operational and financial review resulting in $1 million improvement in P&L bottom line in one site.

AIW was the wholesale arm of Woolworths. i left in September to establ;ish and manage the HLW NSW operation after it became clear Woolworths would be exiting the wholesale market.
