I am a 4th year Ph. D. Candidate in the Gerald Meyer group at the UNC Department of Chemistry and a National Defense Science and Engineering (NDSEG) Fellow. I have experience inorganic and analytical chemistry techniques, but my focus going forward is materials characterization. My current research uses time-resolved vibrational spectroscopy to measure photogenerated carrier lifetimes in silicon photoelectrodes to map out the energetics and to establish best practices for hybrid photoelectrodes to harness solar energy and store the resulting energy in chemical transformations.Skills include: Photophysical characterization including steady-state photoluminescence, time-resolved photoluminescence, UV/Visible transient absorption, and infrared transient absorption; inorganic and some organic synthesis; electrochemical and NMR characterization of metal complexes; and XRD structure solution.ORCID: https://orcid.org/0000-0002-7788-6810/
