- Lead the investment management business development efforts and expand external partnerships. Building bridges that help bring meaningful change to our internal fund management initiatives and broader capital markets- Lead Vanguard's Blockchain and Digital Asset strategy, use case and industry partnership evaluation and development to determine value add approaches that increase investment performance of our funds, lower cost and increase transparency for our clients, and lead to more efficient capital markets- Lead the design and implementation of the Investment Management Group's (IMG) cloud-based innovation and experimentation environments to ensure its capabilities are nimble, flexible, robust, well-supported and secure- Champion the culture of innovation within the Front Office, and help facilitate processes that allow crew to express, document and explore ideas that are based upon solid hypotheses- Continuously explore and lead the technical evaluations of platforms and providers among the pillars of Big Data, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and Distributed Ledger Technology. - Attract and retain top IT and Business talent and build lean teams to engage on strategic fintech projects

- Lead the Global Investment Infrastructure Risk Team for the Investment Management Group (IMG) at Vanguard, as part of IMG's Global Operational Risk Team. - Lead strategic programs that enhance and support the Global Investment Management functions at Vanguard through Technology Stability, Identity and Access Management, Business Continuity Planning, Third Party Oversight, and ongoing assessments of global technology infrastructure.- Partner with senior leadership in the Equity, Fixed Income, and other Risk Management groups within IMG's global footprint to ensure the operating environment maintains world-class performance. - Liaise with critical service providers and vendors to ensure that operational incidents and service levels are properly managed and in-line with contractual agreements. - Partner with project teams in the business and IT to to ensure that policy compliance, operational readiness, and adequate oversight is maintained. Ensure the Front Office receives the desired outcomes from strategic initiatives.

- Lead the Technology Risk Management & Project Oversight function for the Business Operational Risk Management (BORM) team covering the Delaware Investments and Macquarie Funds Group business units in North America.- Perform risk assessments and reviews over critical areas of technology supporting the business to ensure adequate controls are developed and followed, and that policy compliance is maintained. Work with management on tracking and implementing resulting actions- Ensure that the interests and needs of the business are adequately understood and addressed by the supporting technology teams. Liaise with technology teams and project managers to illustrate and manage potential operational risks during the project life cycle.- Work with the business teams to foster understanding and adherence to key controls around the use and development of technology solutions, and the implementation of projects.- Perform due diligence on all M&A activity, as well as outsourcing initiatives.

- Partner with Executive Management and all LOBs to develop and implement the overall strategic technology plan, as well as lead and support the Technology stream on all key business initiatives and projects.- Analyze and negotiate costs from a purchasing perspective, while managing SLAs and contracts with vendors and key business partners.- Lead the service delivery, production operations, network operations, data and network security functions. Manage and assist direct reports in their coverage of these areas.- Act as the lead interface with internal and external regulators, as well as the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia and State of NJ DOBI for all technology related audits and examinations.
