Began with NASA STTR contract 010061 as CEO of RosettaMed to develop an intelligent medical system for the International Space Station, then continued as an independent contractor as Managing Director of HealthLink Systems. Advised NASA's astronaut health program, flight medicine clinic, and human research program. Designed astronaut health data warehouse and specified analytics tools.

Developed a Board and strategic plan, secured funding, selected vendors, and initiated operations for greater Houston's first regional health information exchange for more than 40 hospitals, 11,000 physicians, and 5+ million population. Performed under contracts with the City of Houston Health Department and Mayor's Office.

Created one of the first six hospital information systems and the first web-native system to be fully certified by the US Certification Commission for Health Information Technology in 2007. Products enabled more than fifty hospitals to achieve Federal incentives and significantly improve operations and patient outcomes. Funded by the founders and their network, then individually exited with 5X ROI to Open View Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm.

Acquired by SureScripts and currently used by more than 200,000 physicians.
