Matters include counseling and advocating for business entities, their owners and professional service firms (and their owners)in disputes involving Business Divorce and complex ownership disputes, corporate control, valuation, corporate squeeze-outs, minority oppression, dissolution actions and breaches of fiduciary duty; lawyer and law firm transition issues for departing professionals; business tort, banking, contested probate and estate matters involving removal of executors and trustees, guardianship & claim issues. Litigation of commercial contracts in construction negligence and commercial real estate disputes. Advocating in trade secret misappropriation, other unfair competition disputes & trademark infringement matters. Pursuing creditor claims in bankruptcy cases, counseling and representing municipalities and property owners in zoning-land use controversies, and construction defect related disputes. Prosecuting and defending insurance brokers, real estate brokers, engineers, architects and accountants involving professional negligence, breach of fiduciary and fraud claims. Investigating business frauds perpetrated by employees and third parties with the ultimate recovery of substantial funds. I’m also a very experienced AAA Commercial Panel Arbitrator and also serve as a certified Mediator for resolving complex disputes. I serve on the Firm’s Executive Management Committee responsible for recruiting. I Co-Chair the Firm’s Business Divorce, ADR & Mediation Practice Groups, and the Firm's Marketing and Business Development & commercial litigation marketing committees. I also serve on the Firm’s Diversity, Equity & Inclusion committee. I’ve also successfully completed the highly prestigious Harvard Law School Executive Education Course on Negotiation and Leadership.
