Over30Cosplay is a global advocacy group started in 2014 with 157 members. We now have over 67,000 members in 45 countries with a mission dedicated to promote, support, provide and encourage cosplayers over from 30 to 90 years old feel comfortable expressing themselves through costume and cosplay art forms. This is displayed routinely in convention, social media, and event settings. We offer an informative and supportive, "safe place" to discuss and collaborate on sensitive issues specifically related to cosplayers between the ages of 30-90 years old. Page contributions will include celebrating the history of comic culture related to Over30Cosplayers, couple cosplay ideas, combating negative comments related to age, tips on costume choices flattering to our community, artistic and cultural costume choices, promoting our cosplay members, incorporating retro ideas and genres, dating and family in the community, social media/marketing awareness for older cosplayers and how to combat bullying in the community. Our page addresses real issues to prepare, celebrate and assist Over30 cosplayers and costumers to feel confident, engaged and motivated! This page and our ever growing group encourages cosplayers to enter the costuming community prepared and ready to contribute to the popular art form and culture we embrace called cosplay!
