I am an architect currently serving as the Director of the Government Practice as well as a principal in the firm’s healthcare practice. Since 1990 I have worked at EwingCole, a 470-person architecture and engineering firm that is dedicated to exploring and designing inventive solutions to complex projects that better our clients’ everyday life, our community, and our world. As the leader of the firm's government practice and a member of our healthcare team I have been actively involved in the management and leadership of large, technically sophisticated projects and teams since 1997. As the executive in charge of the government practice, my responsibilities have included the development and execution of the business plan since 2012 while concurrently serving as managing principal on select projects.Over the years I have been successful in operations and management at both a corporate and studio level, while maintaining a mix of private and public-sector clients. With the help of a strong team, several of my projects have been recognized with awards from the architecture profession and respective client industries.In the Federal market I have been the Managing Principal and Project Manager for a wide variety of DoD / VA Clients since 2005. In the last twelve years, I have managed multiple Indefinite Delivery and Building specific contracts for USACE New York, all three of USACE's Medical Support Teams and the VA Medical Center Washington, DC. At the same time I have been fortunate enough to lead a series of complex private sector projects at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and Cooper University Health Care.My recent project experience includes the design and construction of a $ 111 M phased capital improvement program for the Keller Army Community Hospital, almost $ 500 M in CBUP and ABUP projects at USMA, a DoD Market Vision Study for the Defense Health Agency, DBIA award winning work for the ICC-Bethesda, renovations for MD Anderson at Cooper - Voorhees and a new Cooper University Health Care Specialty Care Center.I have been a shareholder since 1998 and currently serve on the firm's Board of Directors. This current term started in 2014, with my first term from 2000-2004.
