As a former professional athlete I believe that health and fitness are fundamental elements required for experiencing all that life has to offer. I learned first hand after feeling the sudden impact of a head on collision instantly becoming a person without the ability to actively engage in life’s opportunities. While sitting out and watching life pass on without me, I helplessly wondered if my best days were behind me. I could not accept that this was it for me. Not willing to accept my fate, I found that healing can be sudden as well as gradual. That simple discovery is what opened a new dimension of health and perspective which became the foundation for my recovery. As a top level athlete I had been able to perform wild feats of strength and coordination that left fans, teammates and coaches excited with wonder and amazement and now I coach the beginner and the pro’s how to unleash the best their body has to offer no matter what the circumstances seem to dictate.It’s here where we face the uncertainty with wonder that new possibilities emerge from deep within and the body finds a way to evolve into something more.
