Performed migration of Keas platform from Rackspace into AWS, including backup and migration of MySQL, Postgres, and Redis databases.Volunteered to take over as team expert on databases and code used to generate and deliver reports when previous SME became unavailable during AWS migration. Functioned as developer and DBA on this system until its shutdown.Identified AWS EC2 instances that were over-provisioned for the amount of demand on the platform. Systematically evaluated instances and adjusted size to meet demand while saving over $1,000 each month.

Responsible for metadata and configuration delivery to Native Guide set-top boxes and Digital Terminal Adapters throughout the country in a physical and virtual RHEL environment.Daily tasks include ingest of metadata information from third-party vendor, processing and validating of the metadata, adjusting what data is delivered to individual markets, and daily push of metadata to cable markets. Filled in holes in team's documentation for these tasks.

Created and updated tools to deploy new releases provided by development and configuration updates requested by the customer. Focused on automation of tasks to increase efficiency and accuracy.Monitored and performed upgrades for customized per-customer servers delivering SaaS product.
