Alba Works delivers services and projects covering but not limited to Civil Engineering, ground works, metal fabrication, M&E, landscaping and winter maintenance. The business provides services throughout Scotland, Northern England and Northern Ireland. Alba Works primarily serves clients with multi-site assets which are often in challenging terrain. We develop access routes to site, maintain existing routes, carry out building fabric repairs and refurbishment, install and test M&E equipment and also provide and install security solutions as well as the facilitation of emergency transport to site. We are also responsible for the safe passage of the M&E equipment of others to and from remote sites.

Before devolution I managed the relationship between the 32 local authorities in Scotland and British Telecommunications. I ran the customer facing account management, bid management, service engineering and network implementation teams delivering services to the authorities.
