I have been working with employers to reduce injuries and make workplaces safer for almost 30 years. I have been with the Workplace Safety and Insurance Board for 24 years in a variety of roles. I spent my first 8 years with WSIB as a claims adjudicator, then 10 years as a Workwell Evaluator, recently I worked as part of the team developing WSIB's Health and Safety Excellence program and now I am a Consultant working with employers to make workplaces safer. Prior to working at the WSIB, I spent 5 years developing, implementing and managing health and safety programs in the manufacturing sector. Originally from Windsor, Ontario, but raised in the Kawartha Lakes area, I have a strong connection to the agricultural sector. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Environmental Studies degree from the University of Waterloo.
