As the Director of the Project Office, my main responsibility is to assist Regional Directors in training and developing their teams while ensuring consistency in service delivery to our customers across a strong multi-regional team, comprising Directors, Senior Managers, Program and Project Managers. Additionally, I oversee the Global Internal Strategic Transformation and Change PMO team within Foundever.This team is responsible for supporting strategic transformation and change in our organization, from conceptual design using UX design thinking methodologies to execution delivery, with support from highly skilled Global Program Managers, Senior and Junior Project Managers.My duties include:• Supporting Foundever in Global Strategic Change and transformation through our internal Project Management Organization• Defining and maintaining a Global Methodology & Implementation process for Internal and External Projects/Programs• Creating and maintaining project artifacts, archives, and toolsets• Developing learning paths for each role within the PMO Organization and Project Management career paths for the wider organization• Supporting the development of training content specific to the PMO Organization• Defining and maintaining reporting methodology and insights analysis• Collaborating with functions outside of PMO to ensure alignment with the changing needs of our organization

As a Program Manager I have the overall responsibility for the successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of a project. This role enabled me to use a combination of skills including my ability to ask penetrating questions, detect unstated assumptions and resolve conflicts, as well as more general management experience gained from years of working as an Operations Manager.Key to any Program Managers abilities is to manage risks that arise from uncertainty, and what made me a successful Program Manager is my ability to be focused on this as a primary concern. Most of the issues that impact a project result in one way or another from risk. A good Program Manager can lessen risk significantly, often by adhering to a policy of open communication, ensuring every significant participant has an opportunity to express opinions and concerns.Throughout my time in this role, I have lead implementations of all scales across the EMEA region, this includes building new sites and supporting the management of global projects utilising my Prince2 qualifications to manage at a program level.
