Currently employed with the Windsor Essex Therapeutic Riding Association , I am responsible for incident prevention and Health and Safety on all parts of the operation. Overseeing preventative maintenance and working with local officials ensures a safe and healthy working environment for all. Also, facilitator for the Equine Assisted Cognitive Processing Therapy (EACPT) program aimed at helping facilitate the recovery of PTSD and other occupational stress injuries in our first responder community. I strive to broaden my knowledge on a daily basis networking with industry leaders. Bringing professional standards and keeping a high level of social responsibility, while keeping the customer first is always a top priority. As volunteer Coordinator, I recruit, provide orientation and schedule approximately 75 volunteers throughout the week providing them with the skills they need to help us deliver programming to close to 200 individuals each week all with diverse needs. Working in emergency services for 15 years, I understand a fast-paced and multitasking environment and thrive in these conditions, knowing how important being a team player and leader is and adhering to local and provincial policies set out by the province.Always seeking new opportunities in the Windsor and Essex County area.
