I am a curious and inspired learner pursuing a Marine Science and Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of California Santa Barbara. I am part of the College of Creative Studies, a small intellectual community of committed undergraduate students and faculty focused on research and life-long learning.All my life I've loved adventure. As a kid it was the woods, Arduino projects, and sailing, but my interests have shifted towards cars, sailboats, rockets, photography, and finance. I love anything that challenges both my hands and mind and makes me ask, "why?". Whether it is aerospace, architecture, or shipbuilding, someday I hope to lead businesses and teams at the intersection of technology and the physical world.I've learned that every part of the world is connected. From the physics that make sailboats move to building rockets, I've discovered that connecting my past skills to current projects comes naturally. I believe this makes me strong at learning new things and problem solving in any environment.
