Since qualifying as a Mental Health Nurse in 2007 the majority of my employment has been in the community CAMHS and social care context. This has also included some inpatient services and working with adult mental health.On qualifying as a Family & Systemic Psychotherapist (in 2012) my role was situated within children’s social care and the youth offending team, as part of the adolescent service.My interest has always been in supervision and training. I completed the advanced diploma in the supervision of family and systemic psychotherapy in 2015, this has led to many supervisory positions and teaching opportunities.I’m privileged to be the course lead and tutor on the intermediate certificate (year 2) in systemic practice as part of the Institute of Family Therapy (IFT) program. My current position is as the consultant professional lead for systemic psychotherapy in Sussex CAMHS and as the Principal Systemic and Family Psychotherapist for CAMHS Acute services in Sussex. I continue to have a private practice where I work with individuals, couples and families with a variety of presenting problems.
