Hello! I am an Exercise Science undergraduate at Eastern Michigan University where I plan on completing my B.S in December of 2023 as I find graduate programs that best fit my passions and career development goals towards a healthcare leader as a fitness & wellness coach/practitioner. As I continue my formal education, I am always in search for different opportunities to build relationships and gain perspectives to build on my practical experience in the field. My professional experience with fitness started with a 6-month extended internship as a fitness instructor at Applied Fitness Solutions of Plymouth. I have carried that knowledge with my increased self-efficacy to my current employment as a personal trainer and a group exercise instructor at the Eastern Michigan University’s Rec/IM Center. I continue to be inspired to build my knowledge as I continue looking for mentorship and experience within a wide range of fitness and wellness sub-fields that align with my passions for quality over quanity, client centered, holistic approaches that see fitness pratitioners within the healthcare continuum, working with other healthcare providers to build trust and rapport. This is where I see myself flourishing in 5 to 10 years from now after completing a masters degree in the field of integrated physiology and exercise behavior.
