Focused leader of a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Operations Team, responsible for the safe and cost effective day-to-day Operations & Maintenance of a Upper Tier COMAH regulated gas storage site, aiming to maximise plant availability whilst ensuring full compliance with regulatory requirements and all aspects of the site Safety Management Systems.Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day Operations & Maintenance of a Top Tier Major Hazard (COMAH) gas storage facility, utilising site assets for the bulk storage of high pressure natural gas including the following:Key point of contact for the COMAH Competent Authority and any applicable statutory requirements in a highly regulated environment - accountable for all aspects of the site Safety Management Systems, including Management of Change, Process Safety and COMAH KPI’s, SIL, Functional Safety Lifecycle on Safety Critical Systems and competency assessments for Senior Authorised Persons.Budget holder for site budgetsManage a Team of 6 Shift Technicians alongside Compliance and EHS co-ordinators, Site Maintenance Dept and key maintenance contractor organisations for safe and cost effective O&M activities.Responsible for O&M Systems Management, including Operations & Maintenance Procedures, Asset Management and Auditing.Co-ordinate outage planning.Deputising for site Manager as and when required in his absence.
