As Director of IT Service Experience and Technology, I report directly to the CIO and oversee Help Desk, Desktop Support, BioMed, A/V, IT Procurement, and interns. In addition to directing teams, my primary responsibility to is ensure a positive experience for our end users in their interactions with technology as well as our IT department. This includes timely and satisfactory resolutions to requests and issues, reviews of processes, policies, and procedures, disaster preparedness and recovery, reviewing the need for emerging or different IT solutions, and anything else related to their overall experience. I also still manage high value or high priority projects and assist the CIO with oversight as needed. I manage IT portions of construction and renovation projects and sit on the space planning committees at each hospital.Prior to my current role, I served as IT Strategist, and reported directly to the CIO. I was responsible for developing and implementing short and long-term business strategies for our department and IT strategies for the health system. I oversaw process improvement, staff development and evaluation, forecasting, and communication. I continued to manage high value or high priority projects and assist the CIO with oversight as needed. I managed IT portions of construction and renovation projects and sat on the space planning committee. I also managed the desktop support, biomed, help desk, IT procurement, training and education, and intern teams. Prior to IT Strategist, I was a Project Manager in a healthcare system. Below is a small sample of my experience:PM during a system wide Cerner conversion. My responsibilities included RadNet, SurgiNet, FirstNet, Patient Portal (HealtheLife), Population Health, Reports, and Project Communication. Served the dual role of analyst for Patient Portal and Population Health. Coordinated large scale events such as Current and Future State Reviews, Maintenance Training, Integrated Testing, and Workflow Discovery. Served as Triage Lead on issues and ran the call center during conversion.Oversaw application (clinical, rev cycle, and misc.) and hardware projects.Coordinated facility projects across the health system, including transitions, renovations, and new construction.Managed network requests and team.Managed provider education team.
