I worked as a Manager Trainee for 84 Lumber in Pleasantville NJ, where I was able to hone my skills in sales and customer relations. At 84 my duties involved handling sales within the store, helping walk-in customers with their projects, organizing proposals and material estimates, directing yard personnel and delivery drivers, budget management, as well as managing store inventory purchase and ordering. With 84 Lumber I acquired a great deal of experience with one-on-one interaction with customers from all backgrounds.

I spent the fall and winter helping my old rowing program by taking over training the freshman women's team.

For two summers I helped my old high school rowing program by working as a head camp instructor organizing and overseeing the summer rowing camp. The camp is intended for pre-high school-age kids between the ages of 8 and 13, to allow them for 1 week at a time to have some fun learning the basics of the sport so that they can have a better understanding of what the sport is before it is offered to them at the high school level. The past couple years have been among the most successful summer camps for Ocean City, bringing in the most campers the program has ever had, as well as brining in the highest number of freshman rowers the following fall season.

I spent the winter and Spring coaching the Men's Freshman rowing team when they were in need of a temporary coach. In this time, I was able to recruit 8 more rowers to the team, and lead them to a bronze medal finish at the NJ State Championships, and a gold medal at the Atlantic County Invitational Regatta.

During the four years that I was rowing for Marietta College, I also held the position as launch maintenance & repair man, which entailed a variety of work ranging from simple oil changes and wood re-finishing, to prop replacement, engine repairs, extensive fiberglass repairs, rub molding replacement, and nearly complete restoration of a 1973 13' Boston Whaler.
