Primary and backup manager of several critical industry standard security applications deployed at the Bank.

Assess, recommend and implement appropriate solutions for hardware and software, currently focusing on Information SecurityCollect requirements and translate into deployable designs while maintaining Bank standards.Work with business units to ensure functional and non-functional requirements are met.Liaison between business units and network, middleware, database, messaging and any other component teams as required.Forecast, order builds, and track incoming hardware need for projects, including costs, network requirements, SAN/NAS and internal storage as well as any special requirements specific deployments required.Document and ensure proper network services, ports and connectivity are properly configured for functionality.Familiar with Active Directory systems including creating OUs, as well the security around AD users to provide the appropriate level of access.Capture and document backup requirements for all deployments to ensure Business Continuity.Create diagrams and build documents to bridge gap between business needs and deployment teams and ensure correct technology was used to address business needs.Worked Information Security projects deploying such tools as Vontu, SPLUNK, Invotas, and internally built applications, all to enhance the security management ability of the Bank.Acted as project Manager (TPM) in addition to DTL duties on a number of projects to take them from concept to deployed solution.Willing (and happy) to go above and outside my job description to get a project done correctly and with the best solution possible by consulting with subject matter experts and create a comprehensive solution.Performed many Chief Architect (CE) duties to assist in project deployments as needed.

BrandGuard attempted to present a web based method for advertisers to maintain brand control, while allowing quicker advertising and marketing operations. The goal was to keep control of intellectual assets and graphics, while allowing franchisees to select from appropriate marketing and advertising materials. Clients could order print materials on line and have them shipped directly to their store, bypassing standard needs for corporate approval of all marketing material.

GBar was an options trading company. I was the lead administrator for a good portion of my career there. Server maintainence and even wireless network (yes in 1998!) were also amongst my responsibility.
