• Preparation of detailed estimate data across all disciplines.• Perform reviews and risk analysis on estimate data and provide Recommendations.• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial approvals.• Participate in bid evaluations received from EPC Contractors.• Prepare estimate comparisons against actuals as submitted by contractors.• Maintain current knowledge of regional pricing and manpower information.• Prepare check, estimates for FEED and for adjustment orders as required.• Oversee subordinate personnel.• Develop estimating coding structure in conformance with WBS/CBS.• Develop and maintain an estimating database.

# Fully review and understand the clients ITT/RFQ documents.# Preparation of Tender bids & Cost estimation, Technical & commercial discussion with Client/Consultant on Turn-key basis for EPC Projects and Equipment & Piping Installation projects.# Prepares cost estimates including estimated man hours for each activity, develops unit rates for all activities, rental rates for construction equipment, quality and cost of materials.# Arrange and participate in bid decision meetings and contribute to proposal strategy.# Liaise with internal departments (Engineering, Procurement, Project HSE and QA/CQ) to ensure that deadlines are met.# Facilitate input from technical and commercial personnel as well as partner organisations/sub-contractors.# Obtain subcontract and/or materials quotations.# Preparation of Material /Quantity Take off from the drawings and deriving required resources and preparing cost estimates.# Prepare and distribute proposal plans, schedules and responsibility matrices.# Ensure that the proposal document is compliant with ITT/RFQ requirements and/or identifies alternatives as appropriate.# Coordinating all pre-award correspondence with the client.# Coordinating preparation of responses to clarification questions.# Prepare Proposal Summary and lead the presentation of the Proposal to senior management for approval. # To provide proposals and estimating data to Projects Managers following award of contract# Develops database derived from in-house experience, historical project data, regular reviews of a wide range of unit cost rates, i.e, Engineering consultancy, equipment and bulk materials, transport, freight, insurance, equipment rental, labor and construction contract unit cost data etc.,# Evaluate the technical bids received from subcontractors to ascertain compliance to the specified requirements and provide clarifications to subcontractors for the same.
