Develop and lead a comprehensive ministry for youth and adults: including training and equipping youth and adults to serve as part of the body of Christ; developing a variety of programs to convey the gospel; and identifying, securing, training, and supervising volunteers and youth in leadership.Other experiences include reviewing, developing and writing resource materials for small groups, nightly programs, and retreats. Throughout the year I also lead the planning, staffing, and organizing regular mission and outreach opportunities.Experiences also include focused training and supervising youth led Youth Council; developing a program to help transition seniors in high school to college, and developing a College Age Program at TFUMC.Occasionally counselled on a non-professional level youth and parents of youth, along with mentoring opportunities.Partnering with and mentoring other youth ministries in the immediate area of Tucker First UMC.

Support Youth Ministry Workers – paid and volunteer, current and aspiring – by leveraging our Connectionism. Connections can be strengthened through individual touch points, facilitating/encouraging geographical- and affinity-based networking groups, sharing of youth ministry-related competencies and resources, and engagement with connectional events.Advocate for the full inclusion of youth leadership and voices in North Georgia Annual Conference Delegation. This begins with leading the intentional recruitment and preparation of that delegation for Annual Conference and additional youth leadership on various conference committees. Created and instituted a Youth Leaders Cohort for part-time and volunteer Youth Workers. Working in connection with Cultiv8 Group to create a culture of support for Youth Workers in the North Georgia Conference of the United Methodist Church regardless of full-time, part-time, or volunteer status. To connect and equip all who work with and support youth ministries.
