Inspection of surface coal and industrial mineral mines, coal refuse disposal areas, surface facilities of deep mines, Government Financed Construction Contracts, AMD treatment sites, and exploration permits within the Cambria District.Enforcement of Surface and Underground mining regulations as well as general safety on the mine sites.Conduct citizen compliant investigations and make recommendations to the Technical section.Conduct permit application reviews and make recommendations to the Technical Section on feasibilty of the application.

Responsible for preparation, digetion, and analysis of all aqueous and soil samples submitted by clients to lab.Preparation of all standards run with analysis for QA purposes.

Responsible for the maintenance, stowage, and delivery of Tomahawk and Harpoon missles to Fast Attack Submarine fleet.Support of W1 Division which included maintenance, stowage, and delivery of Mk 48 and 48 ADCAP torpedos to Fast Attack Submarine.Member of ship's QRF and Weapons Security Watch which provided security for ship's company and maintained security for all weapons stowage areas, Damage Control Central, and Quarterdeck.Calibration Petty Officer in charge of all calibrated equipment including general maintenance and scheduling intermediate maintenance with the Calibration shop.
