Hiring manager of a staff of 30 in a 24/7 tractor trailer service and repair facility servicing 1200-1500 pieces of equipment a month providing DOT inspections, preventive maintenance and most repairs (e.g., Clutches, A/C, Overheads, Alignments, Wheel Ends, Turbos, Power Dividers, etc).I was accountable for all phases of operations to ensure maximum sales, profitability (full P&L responsibility), product knowledge, presentation, marketing execution, inventory management, customer service, loss prevention, payroll, Human Resources, risk management, safety, and daily operational cost control as well as communicating business initiatives, company sales, service, and performance standards and goals.I managed an inventory of $450,000 (e.g., filters, repair, tires, bulk oils, accessories, etc). I devised several procedures of inventory accountability and reconciliation gaining minimal shrink.Research and establish accounts with local vendors for all direct and indirect spend (e.g., Veeder-root).Administer location warranty claims in collaboration with corporate warranty department. I also used its’ truck mounted crane to replace: dump beds, hydraulic cylinders, engines, dozer blades/ROPS, planetary(s) involved in all large projects requiring over head lift support.
